CAS Constructors, LLC Celebrates 31 Years

Topeka-based CAS Constructors, LLC, an award-winning builder of water and wastewater treatment plants in the Midwest, is celebrating its 30th anniversary. 2015 also marks CAS’ 21st consecutive year without a lost time incident, encompassing over 2.5 million hours worked. “As we mark our 30th year as a member of the Topeka community, we’re proud of the projects we’ve built in Topeka and other communities in Kansas,” said CAS President Mike Hafling. “We’ve built a company where everyone prioritizes safety and works to ensure that each worker goes home safely every night.”

logo-2CAS has completed more than 20 projects in its hometown of Topeka. Notable projects include construction of, Oakland Wastewater Treatment Plant rehabilitation in 1985, replacement of the Wanamaker pump station in 1998, a new ultraviolet disinfection facility in 2000, and Water Treatment Plant Lime Residuals in 2002. CAS’ total project experience includes over 400 projects primarily in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Colorado and Iowa.

CAS is proud to contribute to organizations that contribute to the Topeka community. The Company provides up to 16 hours of paid volunteer leave cultivating a culture that values community involvement. Employees have used this Volunteer Leave to work with organizations such as Doorstep, Kansas Children’s Discovery Center, Meals on Wheels, Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA), College Prep Academy of Topeka, SilverbacKS, and their churches.

The company was founded in 1985 by Charles A. Stryker, who managed the business until his death in 2006. Today, CAS continues Stryker’s legacy by providing efficient, reliable construction services on award-winning projects throughout the Midwest.
