Overcoming Disruptions Focus of 2021 Kansas Minority Business Summit
Overcoming disruptions is the focus of the 2021 Kansas Minority Business Summit (KMB). It will take place on Wednesday, July 21st at the Sporting KC's Compass Minerals National Performance Center in Kansas City, KS.
This is the third year for the Kansas City Kansas Community College, Renaissance Management and Training Solutions, LLP, and the Kansas Chamber to host the summit.
"The COVID-19 pandemic had a tremendous impact on businesses - especially minority-owned businesses," said Alan Cobb, President and CEO of the Kansas Chamber. "Our goal is that minority businesses owners invest in a day of conversation and networking with us and then leave with a list of resources and ideas on how they can overcome disruptions and grow their businesses and the impact they have on their communities."
The summit's agenda includes networking opportunities and a number of discussions, including a panel focused on resources available to help minority business owners and entrepreneurs. Those on the panel include:
